How a run is scored

A run is exactly 30 targets, one on screen at a time. Each target is a 44 pixel ring placed at a random spot in the arena, and the clock for that target starts the instant it appears. It stops when your pointer goes down on it, then the next target spawns immediately. Your score is the average of those 30 times, in milliseconds, and lower is better.

Misses are counted, but not the way you might expect. Clicking empty arena adds one to your miss count and drags your accuracy percentage down, yet it adds no direct time penalty. The penalty is real anyway: the target's clock keeps running while you re-aim, so a miss usually costs you 150 to 300 ms on that target's time. Accuracy is reported alongside your average but only the average is saved as your personal best.

Playing it well

Because scoring runs on pointer down, commit to your click on the way in. Players who decelerate onto the target and confirm before pressing give away 50 to 100 ms per target compared to players who click through the motion. The 44 pixel ring is forgiving enough that a slightly sloppy landing still registers.

The non-obvious tip: the next target spawns the moment you hit the current one, so the fastest players are already moving as they click. Widen your gaze to the whole arena rather than tunneling on the active target, catch the new spawn in peripheral vision, and let your hand start traveling before your eyes fully lock on. Over 30 targets that overlap between clicking and reacquiring is worth more than any amount of raw twitch speed. Also mind your grip: a full run takes 10 to 20 seconds of continuous clicking, and tension creeping into your forearm by target 20 shows up clearly in the average.

This is a click-timing test: fixed target size, static targets, a single arena, no moving tracking and no flick distance variation. It measures the see-move-click loop and nothing else, which makes it a good warmup and a consistency meter rather than a complete aim trainer. Times are measured with the browser's high resolution clock, but your display refresh and input hardware sit inside every number, the same as any web-based test. Your best average lives in your browser's local storage only. There is no server, no leaderboard, and no anti-cheat, so the only person you can meaningfully compete with is yesterday's you, which is the competition that matters for training anyway.
